The role you’ll contribute:

At AdventHealth Orlando, our primary customers are patients and families. Our partners are physicians, and all team members are employees of AdventHealth Orlando. The Patient Care Tech works under the supervision of a professional nurse, assisting in performing specific duties and activities of daily living in caring for age-specific groups. Adheres to the AdventHealth Orlando Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable rules and regulations. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships.

• Documents and reports all procedures properly and legibly in accordance with department policy.
• Participates in obtaining a nursing history and reports abnormalities to the RN.
• Assists in identifying needs and developing/modifying the plan of care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate or GED equivalent.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
