Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Leukemia to support the Ambulatory Services - Leukemia team. You will assist nurses and therapists with direct and indirect patient care, transport patients, and help maintain efficient patient flow in the clinic.

We value hands-on clinical exposure and offer a path for those starting or advancing in nursing or healthcare careers.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year direct patient experience
• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of healthcare experience
• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of face-to-face customer service experience
• Matriculation in a Nursing Program

Responsabilidades

• Assist nurses and therapists with direct and indirect patient care
• Safely transport patients throughout the organization
• Pick up and deliver x rays, supplies, scans, mail, and other materials
• Support smooth and efficient patient flow within the clinic
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and patient centered care environment

Educación

High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time direct patient experience

High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting

High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time face-to-face customer service experience

Matriculation in a Nursing Program
