The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the G17 Stem Cell Transplantation & Cellular Therapy unit in Houston. You will assist registered nurses with patient care, comfort and safety during 12-hour shifts, including day and night rotations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with CNA certification or one year of recent acute care experience, and must pass a pre-employment skills test.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidate should have one year of acute care experience or CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities of daily living, mobility, admit/discharge and vital signs.
• Update and retrieve patient information; ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to address patient care needs.
