Job summary

SGMC Health’s Post Partum department at the Main Campus seeks compassionate staff to support patient care, assist RNs/LPNs with procedures, and help with equipment and supply management in a busy hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, CNA preferred, and some patient care experience; CPR certification is a plus. The role operates full-time with a 7on/7off schedule, including 7a–3p and weekend shifts, and offers on-the-job training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Six months of relevant patient care experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy and/or Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Graduate of PCT course strongly preferred.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR Certification preferred.
• General office skills and medical terminology preferred.
• General computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care and assists with ADLs.
• Assists RNs & LPNs with patient care procedures.
• Performs and assists with procedures.
• Assists with equipment/supply maintenance.
• Performs complex clerical duties.
