Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of patient care work experience in a health care facility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 2 weeks of hire and maintained thereafter.
• Active enrollment in nursing school with completion of Nursing Fundamentals or related field, or Nurse Assistant/Medical Assistant training.

Responsibilities

• Report to Nurse Manager and work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to perform multi-skilled patient care tasks.
• Support a decentralized patient-centered approach to care and help achieve desired outcomes.
• Maintain competency in BLS and follow hospital policies during patient care.
