Job summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) at the Medical University of South Carolina reports to the Nurse Manager and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide multi-skilled support for patient-centered care. Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Nursing Fundamentals course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN and other clinicians under supervision.
• Support decentralized patient-centered care and contribute to outcomes.
