This position reports to the Nurse Manager. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the PCT performs multi-skilled activities to support patient-centered care and achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

The PCT performs activities supporting a decentralized, patient-centered approach to care, under RN supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, performing multi-skilled tasks, and supporting desired health outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred, such as Certified Nursing Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic certification, or enrollment in a healthcare program with relevant coursework.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 2 weeks of hire, maintained thereafter.

Physical & Sensory Requirements

Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must have good vision, hearing, and tactile sensory functions, and be able to work in various environments and conditions.
