Arkansas Children's Hospital in Springdale is seeking an Inpatient Medical Surgical PCT for the Night Shift. Certification required; duties include vitals, ADLs, admissions and discharges, and patient assistance under RN supervision.

The Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT) functions as a nursing assistant in performing duties as assigned by the RN. The primary responsibilities of the PCT include: obtaining vital signs and measurements; providing or assisting with basic care & activities of daily living; helping with ED/clinic visits, patient admissions, discharges & transfers; and assisting with customer service needs.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Related Field - 1 year of experience
Technicians - 1 year of experience, AC employee with clinical experience or completion of a semester of healthcare curriculum.
1 of the following certifications is required -
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) - National Workforce Career Association (NWCA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Arkansas Department of Long Term Care, Registered Medical Assistant - Unknown Issuer
