Job summary

Baptist Health Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff by assisting with ambulation, personal care, and routine tasks. You will help with vital signs, hygiene, and documenting observations to ensure safe patient care.

Under supervision, you will also manage clerical duties, answer calls, maintain supplies, and communicate with the team to support a healing environment and timely patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with ambulation and daily living activities.
• Ability to take and record vital signs and I&O.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists with ambulating and mobilization of patients and recording vital signs.
• Assists with personal hygiene, meals, I&O, and bed changes.
• Maintains supplies and answers department calls; supports nursing staff.
