Job summary

You will support activities of daily living, help maintain a safe and organized care environment, and ensure effective communication within the care team.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in an acute care setting or are currently enrolled in a nursing program, with BCLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire required
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Records vital signs and patient data and reports findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assists with meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and mobility aids.
• Aids in patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility devices.
• Collects urine/stool samples and performs blood glucose monitoring; documents results.
• Communicates patient information to the care team and adheres to safety protocols.
• Maintains infection control and proper use of PPE.
• Participates in performance improvement and risk management, and complies with NP safety goals.
