A high school diploma or equivalent is required; CNA program or HOSA background preferred. BLS certification is required. This role works third shift in a busy hospital setting. Strong communication and basic safety skills are essential.

The Patient Care Technician shall serve as a supportive member of the patient care team who will assist in routine and non-complex aspects of patient care. The PCT shall assist RNs, LPN’s, and Physicians in the patient care process. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
High School graduate or equivalent required. Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or a Health Occupations Program (HOSA) preferred. Completion of first clinical rotation as a Nurse Student (i.e. completion of ‘Nursing Fundamentals’ course which includes assistance with Activities of Daily Living, vitals signs etc) or 1 year of experience in a patient care role in an acute care, nursing home or home care setting preferred.
