St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for our 2A Observation unit at Edgewood Hospital.

This full-time role offers 36 hours weekly with a 7PM–7AM shift, on-site in Edgewood, KY, and opportunities to develop clinical skills under RN supervision. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, support patient safety and environmental needs, and help with basic tasks while documenting patient status for the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to take and record vital signs and observe patients.
• Basic computer skills for charting and documentation.
• Experience in customer service is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Support patient safety and environmental needs on the unit.
• Assist with routine tasks and measurements, including vitals.
• Document observations and communicate changes to the care team.
