Job Description

Patient Care Techs are responsible for:

• Performing nursing procedures to ensure patient comfort and well-being
• Documenting all patient interactions accurately, including flow sheets
• Assisting physicians with examinations and tests as needed

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the role involves providing bedside care, respiratory services, rehabilitation, and phlebotomy. Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma
• CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• One year of experience in an acute care inpatient setting preferred
• Patient Care Tech/Nursing Assistant certification preferred
