Job summary

Beverly Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the Float Pool on a per diem basis under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will provide basic patient care, support personal needs, comfort and safety of patients, and help the care team deliver high-quality service.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with daily activities and meals, recording observations, and performing basic procedures as trained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification preferred but not required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to read/write and perform basic 4 function math.
• Basic computer skills (preferred).
• Medical terminology (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with daily activities.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under RN supervision.
• Record vital signs and intake/output measurements.
• Assist with meals and nutritional needs.
• Report unusual observations to the nurse.
• Support the care team as a multi-skilled caregiver.
