Job summary

University Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Truman Medical Center Float Pool, nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) 36 hours/week in Kansas City, MO.

You'll provide hands-on care in an acute setting, receive formal training to grow your technical skills, and work closely with a team of nurses and healthcare professionals committed to excellent patient care. High school diploma or GED and BCLS required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current BCLS certification is required upon hire and must be kept current.
• Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) training or equivalent regulatory training is required or a waiver may apply when criteria are met.
• Candidates with nursing assistant certification or emergency medical technician background meet requirements (if applicable).
