Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City seeks a Patient Care Technician for the in-patient Float Pool. This PRN role covers the 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM shift with 4 hours per week, focusing on hands-on patient care and support under supervision.

You’ll receive formal training to develop skills, work closely with nurses and clinicians, and uphold our standards to deliver compassionate, high-quality care at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BCLS certification at hire is required and must be kept current.
• UAP training or regulatory-equivalent training may be waived if competency criteria are met.
• Experience as nursing assistant or related healthcare role is considered supportive.
