Job summary

University Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the UH Truman Medical Center Float Pool. The role supports 36 hours per week with a schedule of 6:45PM - 7:15AM, located at UH Lakewood Medical Center in Lakewood, CO.

The candidate will join a dynamic team and provide hands-on patient care in an acute setting. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, current BCLS certification, and UAP or nursing assistant credentials as per regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BCLS certification required and must be kept current.
• UAP training or equivalent competency demonstrated; regulatory requirements met.
• Nursing assistant certification per Missouri state regulations or equivalent.
• Experience as EMT/MA/Surgical technician or nurse assistant is valued.
• If outside US, PN program completed and awaiting licensure in the US.
• UAPs from staffing agencies must meet position requirements.

Education
