Pay range: $24.46 - $36.18

This is a 0.9 FTE, 12-hour day shift position (72 hours in a two-week schedule, including every other weekend).

We seek positive, self-motivated Patient Care Technicians who collaborate well with multiple departments to provide excellent patient care and an outstanding experience. Float Pool PCTs are highly flexible and provide care and observation for a diverse patient population across various units, including Medical, Surgical, Orthopedics, Telemetry, and Critical Care. NA-C experience is required; hospital experience and/or nursing school experience are strongly preferred. PCTs in the Float Pool benefit from regular training opportunities in a culture that promotes professional growth and development.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent nursing training experience.
• 1+ year hospital experience as a CNA is strongly preferred.
• Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) required; Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure upon hire.
• Health Care Provider CPR Certification.
• Recent one-year experience in a healthcare setting involving patient contact is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills are preferred.
• Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.
