Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 90% FTE schedule on three 12-hour shifts, 7:00am–7:00pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. The role is on-site at 1401 E State St, Rockford, IL, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Requirements include active Illinois CNA registry eligibility, High School diploma or equivalent preferred, and CPR/BLS certification.

• Must be listed as active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA.

Work Schedule:

90% FTE, Three-12hr shifts, 7:00am -7:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course and be registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry or a nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country and completion of EKG. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
