Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL seeks a Patient Care Technician (Float) for 90% FTE with three 12-hour shifts, 7:00am–7:00pm, and rotating weekends/holidays. You will provide patient care across units and help maintain a safe, efficient environment.

Qualifications include active eligibility in the Illinois Registry for CNA and a high school diploma or equivalent. Basic Life Support/CPR is required; preferred are computer experience and knowledge of EKG.

Patient Care Technician (Float) (Finance)

Work Schedule:

90% FTE, Three-12hr shifts, 7:00am -7:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course and be registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry or a nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country and completion of EKG. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
