Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior direct patient care experience preferred, but not required.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
• Perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient.
• Observe patients and report changes in patient condition to the registered nurse.
• Perform phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
• Assist in all aspects of daily living activities for the patients, including hygiene, changing, light housekeeping, and patient vitals.
