Job summary

Tower Health’s Pottstown Hospital on the 3rd Floor PCU is seeking staff to provide patient-centered nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse. You will perform routine direct patient care, observe patients, and report changes in condition while assisting with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior direct patient care experience preferred, but not required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Perform routine direct patient care following policies to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to the registered nurse.
• Perform phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
• Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, changing, light housekeeping, and monitoring vitals.
