The role supports licensed staff with patient care, data entry, and safety provisions in a fast-paced hospital setting. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with zero to six months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a hospital environment preferred but not required.
• BLS/CPR certification within 90 days of start or orientation completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical care to assigned patients and perform basic nursing tasks.
• Implement orders promptly with understanding of their purpose.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort; assist with positioning, bathing, and linen care.
• Document all data in the computer system.
• Communicate patient information and observations to nurses and team.
• Adhere to unit policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Support Safety Attendant/Patient Sitter duties when assigned.
• Attend staff meetings and review minutes; maintain BLS competency.
