Qualifications

• Active CNA certification preferred.
• BLS/CPR within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with unit tasks.
• Perform point-of-care testing and monitor patient status.
• Implement nursing orders promptly with understanding of purpose.
• Follow policy and procedure for patient care activities and equipment.
• Provide patient safety through preventative measures and hourly rounding.
• Enter data into the computer system and communicate observations to the nurse.
• Maintain age-appropriate care across the lifespan.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked work area.
• Assist with safety attendant/patient sitter duties as required.
