Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff and patient care on the unit. The position accepts CNAs, CMAs, nursing students, veterans, or foreign nursing graduates not yet licensed in the U.S. BLS is required.

High school diploma or equivalent is also needed. The role involves collaboration, accountability, and improving patient experiences. Hours are 7 PM to 7 AM, three shifts per week, with a PRN work shift.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from a certified CNA or CMA program.
• Or 1 year experience as a nursing assistant.
• Or nursing student who completed first semester of the nursing program.
• Or documented military medic/corpsman experience.
• Or foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.
• AHA Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The Patient Care Technician professional assists with patient care to provide support services to the patient, nursing unit, and professional staff.

• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or certified medical assistant program
• Or 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility
• Or nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of the nursing program
• Or documented military experience as a medic/corpsman
• Or foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card required
