Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department. The role supports nurses with patient care, admissions and discharge tasks, and safety practices on the Day shift. Requires HS diploma and relevant certification or program completion.

Experience in healthcare is preferred; BLS is required within 90 days of hire. This is a full-time, on-site position with rotating weekends and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Provide patient care, support the admissions and discharge process, and comply with patient safety practices under the direction of the professional nurse.
