Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking candidates for the Patient Care Technician (PCT) Apprentice track in New Jersey.

Candidates will start in a PCT Apprentice role with the opportunity to transfer to a full Patient Care Technician upon successful completion of the apprenticeship program. Qualified applicants will have a High School diploma or GED and have completed a CNA/MA/PCT program or Nursing Fundamentals, or hold equivalent medical background experience such as EMT or HHA.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of one of: CNA, Medical Assistant or Patient Care Technician program or Fundamentals of Nursing program from an accredited school of nursing or HMH PCT Apprenticeship Program.
• Equivalent medical background experience (EMT, Home Health Aide, CMA, MA, PCT, Nursing Assistant) accepted; may enter PCT Apprentice program.
