Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide direct patient care and support the nursing staff on the unit. Responsibilities include assisting with admissions, transfers, and procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The role requires attention to hygiene, vital signs monitoring, and timely reporting of patient changes. Certification in CNA and BLS is required, with interpretation certification only if bilingual duties apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred; BLS certified.
• If serving as bilingual interpreter,Medical Interpretation certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with emphasis on hygiene and comfort.
• Assist with patient admissions and orientation to room/equipment.
• Assist discharge and transport of patients as needed.
• Record vital signs, intake/output and other data per policy.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nurse.
• Mentor new staff when required.
• Transport medications per policy and ensure secure handling.
• Maintain unit supplies and equipment.
• Transport patients safely per policy.
