$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
The Patient Care Tech, under the directions of a Registered Nurse (RN) and according to established procedures, performs patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort, and safety of patients.
Education: N/A
Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience: Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or completion of one nursing clinical rotation
Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire if required by the department.
Preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, and ability to follow directions.
