Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of teaching, training, or related professional experience.
• Must possess PCT/healthcare credentials, certification, licensure, or accreditation recognized in Pennsylvania.
• Healthcare experience related to PCT, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or related field preferred.
• Previous teaching or instructional experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with and mentor diverse young adults.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of student records and information.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, accountability, and teamwork.
• Possess a valid driver's license and meet insurability requirements.
• Ability to sit/stand/bend/lift up to 40 pounds as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging hands-on instruction in PCT skills, procedures, and workplace practices.
• Prepare students for successful completion of Career Technical Training and industry certifications.
• Develop and deliver lessons, activities, demonstrations, and assignments supporting learning.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress; provide individualized support.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom and uphold center expectations.
• Mentor students and model professional workplace behaviors and career standards.
• Provide guidance, job leads, and healthcare career information.
• Collaborate with Career Transition Services and other departments on placement.
