Job summary

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Naples, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support clients and staff across the facility. You will assist with treatment processes, monitor patient activities, and provide clerical support to the treatment team, including medication services and patient scheduling.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass Level II background check.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association or obtain within 30 days.
• Must satisfactorily pass a state/license-specific background check.
• Current Driver’s License in good standing with clean driving record.
• Favorable Driver Health Screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients and staff with team needs throughout the facility.
• Assist with the treatment process within organizational guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Review patient activities and relate observations to staff.
• Ensure building is in compliance with fire and safety regulations.
• Provide clerical support to the treatment team, medication services, patient scheduling and unit office/tech station.
• Review and support recovery activities and relate observations to staff.
• Assist patients from admission through discharge.
• Monitor and maintain patient medications as site requires.
• Ensure site/building safety and regulatory compliance.
• Drive as needed.
