Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Regular full-time Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine patient care under the direction of nurses and physicians. You will assist with ambulation, hygiene, feeding, and daily activities to ensure comfort and safety.

Eligibility includes a High School diploma or GED and CNA certification. This role features rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to moving health forward.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and direct patient care: ambulating, bathing, positioning, feeding, and attending to care needs.
• Greets patients and visitors, answers inquiries, and assists with messages, gifts, and errands.
• Ambulates patients, assists in/out of wheelchairs, measures intake/output, and may collect specimens.
