Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is hiring for roles supporting nursing staff and patient care in Charleston. The selected candidate will perform clerical tasks and front-line patient care under an RN, maintaining accurate patient records and greeting patients with a welcoming, enthusiastic approach.

Qualifications include HS diploma or GED, CNA or CMA certification, or related patient care experience. RSF training completes on hire, with emphasis on safety and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited HS or GED with Fundamentals of Nursing or Nursing Assistant Program.
• Current CNA certification preferred.
• Graduate with experience as patient care technician in acute care or nursing home; or direct patient care in assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff under RN direction and greet customers warmly.
• Maintain and update patient records in a timely, orderly manner.
• Report changes in patient condition to the nurse.
