Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a collaborative nursing team. You will assist Registered Nurses with hands-on patient care, vital signs, mobility, and daily needs while promoting a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

Your role supports care plans, emphasizes empathy and teamwork, and requires BCLS within 30 days and NC CNA certification. An equal opportunity employer.

Qualificações

• Compassionate patient care and ability to work within a nursing team.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certification as CNA in North Carolina is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
