Overlake Medical Center and Clinics in Bellevue, WA, is currently seeking an engaged, motivated, and compassionate Patient Care Technician (CNA)/Nurse Technician to join our patient-centric Telemetry/Oncology Unit.

In our commitment to providing exceptional quality and superior service to every patient and family member, we are improving our physical plant and creating a new, innovative layout to support the bedside nurse. We will offer larger single-patient rooms that combine space for family zones and state-of-the-art technology, enhancing the work of Overlake’s highly skilled medical providers.

The patient population on this fast-paced, 36-bed unit includes MI, post-cardiac interventional patients, TAVR, medical telemetry, dialysis, and oncology.

• 12-hour shifts
• 0.6 FTE - Night Shift

Qualifications for Nurse Technician

• High school diploma and completion of at least one clinical quarter of nursing training. Competency will be verified during orientation.
• Current enrollment and satisfactory completion of clinical quarters in an approved nursing program, with proof of ongoing good standing.
• Registered as a Nursing Technician with the Washington State Nursing Commission.
• BLS Healthcare Provider CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, computer skills preferred, ability to handle hospital equipment, and proficiency in English.
• Ability to handle exposure to soaps, sterilants, and body substances.

*Candidates not yet completed with their first clinical rotation may start as Patient Care Technician and transition later to Nursing Technician.*

Pay Rate for Nurse Tech: $25.25/hour
