BayCare’s Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, FL seeks a Patient Care Technician / CNA. This full-time role supports nursing staff, delivers direct patient care, and works in a fast-paced hospital setting.

EMT eligibility is preferred for ER coverage; various day/night shifts with weekend rotation are available. BayCare offers comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and strong career growth.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED minimum.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (ARC or AHA).
• 6 months of PCT/CNA acute care experience, or 1 year of PCT/CNA experience in skilled nursing or rehab, or Nursing Fundamentals/Foundations program, or PCT/Nursing Assistant program with at least 40 hours of clinical, or BayCare internship, or EMT certification/Paramedic license for ER only.

If youwould like to start working in a dynamic hospital environment in a supportive team environment providing hands-on careforpatients witha leader inhealthcare,please joinBayCareas a Patient Care Technician.

Position details:

• Facility:Mease Countryside Hospital
• Location: Safety Harbor, FL
• Shift:Full time hours are 3 twelve-hour shifts per weekandevery other weekend
• Shift:Part time hours are 2 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
• Shift:Day shifts 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Shift:Night shifts 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Patient Care Tech/ Certified Nursing Assistant responsibilities and skills:

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED minimum
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• A minimum of one of the following:
• 6 months of PCT/CNA acute care experience, or
• 1 year of PCT/CNA experience in a skilled nursing or rehab facility, or
• Completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN) or Nursing Foundations (LPN) Programs, or
• Completion of a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes at least 40 hours of an external clinical component, or
• Successful completion of a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT internship, or
• EMT certification/Paramedic license for ER only
