Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; graduate of accredited nursing assistant program.
• Minimum one year as a nursing assistant or student nurse with clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and preparation for visits.
• Be knowledgeable about operation of medical devices and equipment.
• Know clinical systems, protocols and procedures for patient care.
• Obtain and prepare laboratory specimens for testing.
• Maintain clean exam/procedure rooms and stock supplies; troubleshoot equipment.
• Remain flexible with changing department needs.
