Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patient care under the direction of licensed staff. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and diverse pathways such as CNA/CMA programs, nursing student progress, or military medic experience.

Candidates with EMT certification/Paramedic license are welcome. BLS certification is required. This position offers front-line patient support in a busy hospital setting in Dallas, Texas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year as a nursing assistant or equivalent.
• Graduate from a CNA or CMA program, or be a nursing student who completed the first semester.
• Military medic/corpsman experience is acceptable.
• EMT certification/paramedic license is required.
• Foreign nursing graduates not licensed in the U.S. may qualify with equivalent credentials.
• BLS certification is required.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required
• 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility Or
• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program Or
• Certified Medical Assistant program Or
• Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program Or
• Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman Or
• Foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S Or
• EMT Certification/Paramedic License
