Job summary

DaVita seeks a Patient Care Technician to provide hands-on dialysis care in hospital settings. Paid training and opportunities for career growth are offered; flexible hours include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

You will work closely with nurses and other care staff to support patients throughout treatment. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED; comfort with blood and medical equipment; prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Deliver one-on-one dialysis care to patients with kidney disease.
• Monitor vital signs and observe dialysis treatments.
• Comfort with blood, needles and medical equipment.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Healthcare experience is a plus (CNA, MA, Phlebotomy, CHt, BON... ).

What You'll Need:

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
• Comfort working with blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina for long shifts (up to 12+ hours)
• Flexibility to float between facilities as needed
• Previous healthcare experience a plus (CNA, MA, Phlebotomy, CHT, BONENT certified)

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Wage Range for the role is $23.50 - $36.00 per hour.

Patient Care Technician Acute Experienced: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour.

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
