Position Summary

The Patient Care Technician role offers a dynamic and comprehensive opportunity within our healthcare system. You will support nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions to promote excellent patient outcomes. This role allows you to develop clerical, communication, and age-appropriate nursing care skills through collaboration and direct patient interaction.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of duties across the hospital, including basic nursing care, patient transportation, and clerical tasks.
  • Apply strong interpersonal skills to care for patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with healthcare practitioners and registered nurses to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (must apply within 7 days of hire).
  • Obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Recent bedside care experience in a healthcare environment.
