Tower Health's Pottstown Hospital seeks a patient-care aide to provide nursing support under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will perform routine direct patient care, follow established policies, and help maintain safety and comfort for patients.

Responsibilities include observing patients, reporting changes to the RN, performing phlebotomy and point-of-care testing, and assisting with daily living activities such as hygiene, mobility, and vital checks.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• BLS certification preferred.

Job Summary

• Responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
• Perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient.
• Perform observations of patients and reports changes in patient condition to the registered nurse.
• Perform specific skills including phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
• Assist in all aspects of daily living activities for the patients, including, but not limited to general hygiene of the patient, changings, light housekeeping, and patient vitals.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• Prior direct patient care experience preferred, but not required for employment.
