Job summary

DelRicht Research is seeking a Patient Care Technician in Hendersonville, TN to deliver high-quality patient care in our clinical trials. You will be the primary on-site contact, ensuring visits follow protocols and patients have a positive, efficient experience.

The role requires 1+ year in patient-facing healthcare, or CMA/RMA/CCMA or RN/LPN license; on-site work with travel as needed; base salary $55,000-$67,000, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional patient-facing or healthcare experience.
• Preferred active medical assistant or nursing license.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Direct patient care in a clinical environment is a plus.
• On-site, customer-facing work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and positive experience in clinical studies.
• Ensure visits are accurate, efficient, and protocol-compliant.
• Conduct enrollment and retention activities with focus and follow-through.
• Enter clinical data accurately across medical record systems.
• Serve as lead contact for sponsors and CROs for trials.
• Maintain excellent client service on-site and clear communication off-site.
• Provide timely physician updates to reinforce site confidence.

Patient Care Technician’s Main Objective:

Overall, the Patient Care Technician is responsible for providing quality, excellent patient care and a great experience for our patients in our clinical research studies:

• Patients have a fun, positive and comfortable experience throughout their time in our clinic
• Patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently, with 100% adherence to clinical trial protocols
• Patient enrollment and retention activities are executed with focus and follow-through
• Clinical data is entered accurately and on time across various medical record systems and platforms
• Lead and main point of contact for Pharmaceutical Sponsors and Contract Research Organizations for all clinical trials
• Ensuring sponsors and clients have amazing customer service when they are onsite at our clinic and assuring we are always providing clear, constant communication with them when they are off site
• Physicians receive timely patient and protocol updates that reinforce confidence in the site tea

Skills needed to win:

• Required: 1+ of professional experience patient-facing or healthcare position
• Preferred: Active medical assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or nursing (VN, LPN, or RN) license
• Preferred: B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university
• Preferred: Professional experience providing direct patient care in a medical or clinical environment
• Preferred: Experience in an on-site, customer-facing role
• Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.

$55,000-$67,000, dependent upon prior experience and credentialing
