Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide dialysis treatment in Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will support patients with end-stage renal disease, delivering safe, efficient and compassionate care at the facility.

The role involves 3x12 hour days, rotating schedule with no on-call. Training is provided and benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match. You may float to different facilities as needed and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Comfort with blood and needles and dialysis solutions.
• Ability to stand and work 12+ hours.
• Willingness to float to different facilities as needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Preferred certifications: CNA/CMA/CHT/BONENT or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dialysis care on-site in SNFs under RN supervision.
• Prepare and operate dialysis machines and monitor vitals.
• Document treatment details and ensure infection control.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and care routines.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians and social workers.

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide dialysis treatment in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF). In this role, you\'ll support patients with end-stage renal disease directly at their care facility, helping deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate treatment.

Crescent Cities Center, 4409 East-West Hwy, Riverdale, MD 20737

3x12 Hr Days

No On Call

CCHT Required

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday primarily

Rotating schedule

Responsibilities

• Deliver dialysis care on-site in SNFs under RN supervision
• Prepare and operate dialysis machines
• Monitor patient vitals and document treatment details
• Assist with infection control and equipment disinfection
• Educate patients on treatment and care plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nurses, dietitians, social workers)

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable with blood, needles, and mixing dialysis solutions
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods (12+ hour shifts)
• Willingness to float to different facilities as needed
• Flexible schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Preferred: CNA, CMA, CHT, BONENT certification, or relevant experience
