Job summary

Innovative Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to deliver high-quality care to ESRD patients. You will monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis, measure stats, initiate cannulation, and assist with hemodialysis machine setup.

A compassionate approach and team orientation are essential to provide comfort and safety. Requirements include a high school diploma, BLS/CPR, and appropriate PCT certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Desire to care for people and be comfortable around blood and needles.
• Current BONENT/NNCC/NNCO or state-approved certification for PCTs where applicable.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to ESRD patients before, during, and after dialysis.
• Monitor patients, measure and record stats, and observe for changes.
• Initiate cannulation and assist with hemodialysis machine setup.
• Maintain safety and infection control throughout treatment.

Job description

Job Requirements

Our Patient Care Technicians provide high-quality patient care to patients suffering from the most advanced stage of chronic kidney disease, known as END Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). As a PCT you will monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, initiating cannulation, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Our Patient Care Technicians have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life.

Work Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a desire to care for people and be comfortable working around blood and needles.
• Experienced PCTs must have current certification from BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO or if applicable other state approved certification.
• Experienced PCTs are required to have current BLS/CPR certification.

Salary Range

• $19.00 - $31.00/ hour depending on experience and qualifications
