Northside Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to deliver nursing assistance and direct patient care, ensuring comfort, safety and personal needs are met. You will operate within a unit-based, self-directed team and share tasks with licensed and non-licensed colleagues to optimize patient experience.

Qualified candidates hold BLS, Georgia CNA registry, and CMA/RMA credentials, with at least one year of direct patient care experience in acute settings.

Competenze

• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry.
• Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA).
• Registered Medical Assistant (AMT).
• Certified Medical Assistant (NHA).
• One year of patient care experience in acute or direct patient care settings.

The Patient Care Technician provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs procedures for physical hygiene and comfort of patients. Performs duties with the construct of a unit-based, self-directed patient care team while sharing various tasks with other licensed and non-licensed members.

Required

• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry
• Certified Medical Assistant awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
• One (1) year of patient care experience, as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or other relevant acute, direct patient care experience.

Preferred

• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
