Job summary

Innovative Renal Care seeks a Patient Care Technician to support ESRD patients through dialysis, monitoring vitals, cannulation, and machine setup. You will engage with patients before, during, and after treatment, ensuring safety and comfort in a high-demand setting.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma, are comfortable around blood and needles, and possess BLS/CPR along with PCT certification from BONENT/NNCC/NNCO or state-approved programs.

Qualifications

• Desire to care for people and be comfortable around blood and needles.
• Current PCT certification (BONENT/NNCC/NNCO or state-approved).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis, recording stats.
• Initiate cannulation and assist with hemodialysis machine setup.
• Provide compassionate patient observations and care throughout treatment.

Our Patient Care Technicians provide high-quality patient care to patients suffering from the most advanced stage of chronic kidney disease, known as END Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). As a PCT you will monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, initiating cannulation, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Our Patient Care Technicians have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life.

Work Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a desire to care for people and be comfortable working around blood and needles.
• Experienced PCTs must have current certification from BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO or if applicable other state approved certification.
• Experienced PCTs are required to have current BLS/CPR certification.
