Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Nurse Aide (PCT) to assist with activities of daily living and basic treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role includes rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, glucose checks, transporting patients and supplies, and providing hourly rounds.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the nurse, prioritizes and organizes care, performing basic nurse aide tasks.
• Documents treatments and observations; provides handoff to the team.
• Maintains a clean, safe, well-stocked unit and supports efficient operations.
• Assists with rooming patients, taking vital signs and blood glucose, transporting patients and supplies, and hourly rounding.
