Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team. The role requires 2 day shifts per week, 7 am–7 pm, with rotating holidays and weekends, under supervision of licensed staff.

Responsibilities include providing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, following hospital policy and demonstrating competency with treatments and equipment. Education includes a high school diploma or GED; requires 1 year of patient care experience, BLS on hire, CNA and PCT

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of patient care experience required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• CNA preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.
