Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to join our care team and support bedside patient care from birth through the lifecycle under supervision of licensed staff, using skills in treatments and equipment per hospital policy.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of patient care experience; BLS certification is required upon hire. CNA or PCT program certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of patient care experience required, preferably in hospital or acute care setting.

Overview:

This position requires 2 day shifts per week, 7 am-7 pm, with rotating holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities:

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

Qualifications:

Education

Work Experience

• 1 year of patient care experience required, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.

Licenses and Certifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
