Job summary

Atrium Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist nurses and doctors in the Progressive Care Unit. You will monitor vitals, help patients with daily activities, and support the care team with documentation and routine tasks.

No prior experience is required; a high school diploma or GED is enough, and you can obtain a BLS CPR certificate at orientation. This role emphasizes multitasking, organization, and compassionate patient interaction.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; STNA/CNA/PCT training or nursing clinical rotation accepted.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized while caring for patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperature, heartbeat, and breathing for patients.
• Assist patients with mobility, dressing and meals.
• Collect urine samples and report changes to a nurse.
• Support paperwork and hospital operations as needed (HUC duties).
• Assist with walks, hygiene, weighing and vital signs.
